Rusty Bar Ranch is located on 30 acres, 2.5 miles from the city of Roy, 7 miles from Yelm, and approximately 11 miles from the Roy "Y".
We are a full care boarding facility with 2 boarding barns, a 60 X 120 fully enclosed, lighted arena, a 100 X 200 outdoor arena, 60' round pen, an outdoor trail obstacle course, and riding trails. We are minutes away from JBLM Training Area 15 with miles of beautiful trails as well as the Tacoma Unit #1.
Our facility is gated, licensed, insured and we, the owners, live onsite. We have over 30 years of quality horse experience and treat every boarded horse like one of our own.

LESSONS
Private lessons are available to students of all ages, from beginner to advanced; English or Western. Private means the horse, rider, and instructor alone in the arena, so there are no distractions or interruptions from other horses or riders.
The best way to train a horse is to train both horse and rider. I will help teach
you to read horse body language and communicate with one another on their
level, while building trust, understanding, and a safe working relationship.

BOARDING
Rusty Bar Ranch offers full care boarding only. We provide the stall, good quality local grass hay, and will feed owner provided grain and supplements at no additional cost. During the spring, summer, and early fall, we take a highly proactive approach to fly control.
